This 16 week informal education programme offers young people the opportunity to become leaders in the sport of cheerleading and their local community. They will look into issues like mental health, body image, bullying and developing interpersonal skills for the future including communication and self confidence through group work and team building.

We specifically want to gether views, experiences and any concerns arising from Covid-19 which may have had an impact on their mental health or wellbeing. YMCA Gatehouse of Fleet - After School Cafe

The Gatehouse of Fleet Drop-In "After School Cafe" will offer a relaxed and supportive place for young people to relax, listen to music, chat and have smoothies and snacks after school. Healthy snacks and fruit juice will be provided every week and once a month there will be a meal.

Wigtown YA Magazine - Wigtown Festival Company

A young people’s literature, art and culture magazine designed and produced by young people looking for a career in the sector. We aim to develop young peoples career prospects in the sector through training workshops and real-life experience. This free magazine will be distributed to D&G high-schools, libraries and online.

Better Lives Partnership - Bridge to Employment Project @ Wigtownshire

We want to ensure young people in Dumfries & Galloway within this group do not face barriers to fulfilling their potential, are supported and empowered to live meaningful and independent lives.

The Hub Club - Annan

The Hub Club is a weekly youth Group in Annan for young people ages 12 – 25 years with extra support needs and disabilities who take part in a variety of activities and projects. We would like to take our young people away on an opportunity of a lifetime. We would like to take them to Calvert Lakes Disability Outdoor Centre in Keswick for a 2 night stay in October 2012.

Dumfries Parkour Group
