Wigtownshire Rugby Club
2020-10-05 • • Ward 1 - Stranraer and The Rhins
We are applying because of the amount of young people taking part in training, we are having to purchase extra equipment that suits this age group. They are all looking for as much time as is possible to be given to help them achieve a high level of fitness which in turn promotes a healthier level of living. This would not be possible without the help of our SRU trained coaches and out Trustees commitment to the game. As a registered charity we promote the game right from P1 up to senior levels which involves over 15 registered coaches who give their time freely to this project which training now spread over every night and Sundays. The level of training puts a lot of wear and tear on our training equipment. We have recently had to purchase some new training tools for our two senior teams but would appreciate help with the junior teams.
