Food Train offers a shopping, befriending, and household support service for people aged 65+. We want older people to be able to keep their independence by ensuring they have fresh groceries, social contact and companionship plus access to further support. We cover Nithsdale, supporting around 300 older people, mostly aged 80+. Our aim is to support older people to enable them to live at home independently for as long as possible.
