We plan to run a family focused summer programme in Upper Nithsdale to enhance the lives of local families. The activities will be centered around the community having access to educational and fun activities such as Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Outdoor Activities as well as opportunities to address health inequalities e.g. Child Oral Health etc. Summer is a costly time for keeping young children occupied, it is an expense that some families cannot always afford. With the support of the Upper Nithsdale Community Food Sharing Group, we will ensure that all activities will also include healthy and nutritious lunch and/or snacks.
