The YMCA Youth Committee aim to tackle food poverty by designing and producing simple and easy to understand recipe cards to be included in food parcels issued by local food banks. The Committee will achieve this by meeting with representatives from local food banks to get an idea of what goes into a food parcel, work with professional cooks to design the recipes and methods using food found in a food parcel and receive cooking tutorials. They will design and print recipe cards to be printed and distributed to local food banks.
