Our proposal Let’s Get Employed, would offer families training, mentoring and employability support through the provision of children’s sport camps during school holidays- delivered across 80 holiday camp days with one trainee placement available per day across the year. Let’s Get Employed will be delivered alongside our school holiday camp programme at various community facilities across Nithsdale. The aim is for children to attend sports camps as participants whilst parents attend as a trainee.
