Many young people in the Castle Douglas area are undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, but covid has added specific challenges in supporting them to complete their expeditions and therefore their full awards.
We want to provide modern expedition equipment that is free for the young people in the area to use, that will allow expeditions to go ahead under covid recovery guidance, and that will be a valuable resource for more young people in the years to come.
