Annan Youth Group Safe Spaces (A&E Youth Group) Our group would like to offer a safe space with- in our youth facility for young people to come along on a Friday night as part of the youth group, where they can improve their Mental Health and well -being by providing an opportunity to join a supportive peer group where young people can meet others who have mental health issues, who can help by sharing their experiences. chat to staff trained in Mental Health issues, offer a peer to peer support approach about mental health experiences, or just somewhere to come if they are having a bad day.
Douglas Ewart High School Garden Project

The Garden Project is being led by a group of young people who would like to repurpose a piece of land at the back of the school into a community garden for use by young people at the school. The garden will feature an outdoor classroom, a sensory area, a working garden with fruit and vegetables and will provide a relaxing space for young people to socialise. The garden will be open during the school day and for extracurricular activities during the evenings and weekends.
Black & Gold Foundation – Free football for 12 to 17s

A block of free football training for 12–17 year olds would enable existing and new players to reap all of the physical, emotional and social benefits of exercise whilst having fun, learning a skill and being part of a team without any financial worry for their parents/carers.
Lockerbie Drama Group

Lockerbie Drama Group (A&E Youth Group) The Drama youth Group meet every Thursday afternoon in Lockerbie Youth Room, we are a group that are helping to support raising awareness issues surrounding LGBTQI and reducing any related attached stigma as well as being a support group for LGBTQI young people

Upper Nithsdale RDA – It’s what you can do that counts

Young Chefs

Young Chefs (A&E Youth Group) The Young Chefs group will teach young people aged 12-17 to cook budget friendly meals from around the world. This group will run over 6 weeks and will help young people to learn about different countries and cultures along with learning about safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
