Get Lit is book club for young people where each month we’ll read a different book and get together to talk about it. All books will be decided by the group and our goal is to get people reading without money being a barrier.
Young Women Project

We want to bring young women together to advocate, mentor & celebrate International Women's Day 2022 through creating a network of young women in every secondary school within Dumfries & Galloway where they will have a role model who has their own unique story to tell. The young people will take part in workshops alongside their role model and peers and will come together in March 2022 to a conference designed by them.

We want to ensure young people in Dumfries & Galloway within this group do not face barriers to fulfilling their potential, are supported and empowered to live meaningful and independent lives.
Wallacehall Academy – WHApples Wellbeing

Wallace Hall Academy WHApples group are developing a wellbeing garden within our orchard. With the help of funding, the area will provide a stimulating, relaxing and enjoyable space for our young people and the wider community to interact with nature and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of the outdoors. The area will be developed with the help of our local young people and our wider community.

The Peer Education & Digital Podcast Team

The Peer Education & Digital Podcast Team (A&E Youth Group) Our project is a Peer Education. This is a Peer Education and Digital Information Project, based on the 10,000 Voices findings. Young people will be trained and supported to deliver interactive workshops at events such as Youth Beatz, Pride etc. to address the Issues that young people have identified in Annandale and Eskdale. As well as to individuals and Youth Groups in Annandale and Eskdale.
LGBT Youth Scotland – Rainbow Hands

Rainbow Hands will provide LGBT young people with resources to engage in creative and relaxing craft activities during group time. We’ll also provide new resources to support autistic young people to attend the group space, including headphones and stim toys.

Lockerbie Drama Group (A&E Youth Group) The Drama youth Group meet every Thursday afternoon in Lockerbie Youth Room, we are a group that are helping to support raising awareness issues surrounding LGBTQI and reducing any related attached stigma as well as being a support group for LGBTQI young people
